Artist Statement All around creative who has always absorbed art first and then science. I find that art is a language that speaks outside of logic; it has the uncanny ability to invoke passions and intense interest that did not exist previously in humans. I had not tried to materialize my art until these past few years when I changed my social environment and started associating myself with musicians, aspiring rappers, illustrators and the likes which led me to actively pursue my own art. My designs are heavily inspired by Japanese culture, more specifically the Edo Period Influenced Anime/Manga like Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, etc. I also draw influences from modern day HipHop to the more nostalgic era of HipHop ~ Illmatic, Pete Rock, Brand Nubian. My art reflects the juxtaposition of these elements.
