Artist Statement First, let me say thank you for visiting and checking out my pictures. Unlike a lot of people, I fell into photography as a hobby as an adult. I received my first camera at 19. It was a Pentax- old and quite used. Completely manual all the way down to winding. It cost me my first three rolls of film to learn how to properly load the thing; but I was hooked. I soon replaced it with another Pentax, a ZX-7, and then shortly thereafter to a Canon EOS 3. I have always tended to be practical with shooting, sticking mostly to being the designated photographer for family functions. Last year, as the result of the theft of all of my equipment, I decided to join the digital age.

Needless to say, digital photography has completely changed the way that I take and distribute pictures. I know I don't have a wonderful eye for it, but I find if I take enough pictures, eventually I get lucky. (The line: "Even a blind pig...." comes to mind.) ;-)

Even so, I very much enjoy taking pictures. Please feel free to e-mail me with questions about any of the pictures. I always retain the original RAW's, so I can accommodate most requests for alterations.

Also, I totally appreciate suggestions; just please try to be kind.

And thanks again.
