Description This is a locally famous location on the Ouachita River in Union Parish Louisiana. It is know for it good fishing, hence the name 'Hooker Hole'. The Ouachita River makes a couple of hard bends, which causes the river current to undercut the river banks. This has caused the the river to be deeper than normal at this point, holding large catfish. Also there is a sand bar that is favored by the people for swimming and wading.
