What do I ask of a painting? I ask it to astonish, disturb, seduce, convince. (Lucian Freud)

My artwork has developed from childhood memories to current adulthood experiences about the curiosities of how light can change the form of many things. In researching & experimenting with the mixture of acrylic & oil paint hues to accommodate the phosphorescent paint, I created a technique which I titled Phosphormorphosis. Phosphormorphosis is to change the form of a two-dimensional image or three-dimensional surface by manipulating the hue of wet or dry media and adding phosphorescent paint to distort the image and reveal a form changing illusion in the dark.

My paintings express the subjects with personal meaning and hidden symbols. As the painting absorbs the natural daylight and day progresses to night, in a dark room, the painting will show a form changing illusion and reveal all hidden symbols to answer it's meaning.

Black light enhances the glowing colors.
