Artist Statement Influencing life and inspire the world around us to dream; Alan looks deeper at everyday street and landscapes painting expressed across the worlds surroundings. Conveying receptive daily aggressive emotions through any style painting and drawing with colors. Reflecting sensitivity and vision in his paintings and always reaching for an inspirational moment to record in our devouring times. "The bigger the canvas the better!"

Alan's Plein Air Oil Painting Classes(Winter Studio lessons Thursday) 9:30am to 12:30pm located in Green Bay WI (Plein air lessons Spring Summer and fall Friday) 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Door County or upper peninsula of Michigan depending on area attendance. If you would like to try painting outdoors with a loose, quick and impressionistic style. Learn the how to of composition, value and color. I will help you take the mystery out of plein air painting and take your paintings to the next level, Learn to paint alla prima (in one sitting), Show off your art work! Each session will include a one hour demonstration in the morning on how to select a subject, plan and execute a finished piece and using color to display light. During the afternoon, we will break for lunch. In the last hour I will provide individual help making sure everyone completes a finished painting. Be prepared for the days weather conditions!
