Artist Statement Hello! Thank you for looking at my art!
My formal education was in Film (production with a focus on Cinematography), due to illness I lost my eyesight while working toward my Bachelors of Art degree at Emerson College. Thanks to surgery, my eyesight was restored and the world was more vivid and sparkling, textured and sharply-edged than I had ever experienced.
I want to capture that feeling for you. I love getting into a subject, real close, and bringing that image back from the journey so that I can show people "look what I saw".
I hope this inspires people to slow down and take a closer look at the intriguing world that thrives in everyday objects.
Best wishes and please let me know if I may answer any questions for you!
