Artist Statement I paint exclusively with a palette knife to create my oil paintings because I love the thick, painterly strokes of color I can create with it. My work varies in subject matter because I am inspired by so many things around me. The textural quality of the palette knife strokes is the theme that unites my work.
I am an award winning artist and have worked as a professional graphic designer for many years. I began painting in oil again after taking a palette knife workshop in Boston and was immediately hooked.
