Artist Statement Jean-Pierre Mouzon was born June 17, 1982 in Panarama, California. Jean-Pierre embraces many artistic abilities; ranging from music, theatre, painting, and photography. In the summer of 2002 he embarked on a journey with the United States Coast Guard. It would then lead him to Michigan where he met his future wife Jessica who was also in the United States Coast Guard. Jessica Mouzon was born January 29, 1984 in Newport News, Virginia. At the age of 8 Jessica's family moved to Vermont where she grew up. Growing up in scenic Vermont started her interest in landscape and floral photography. In the summer of 2003 she began her journey with the United States Coast Guard. Jean-Pierre and Jessica were married in November 2004.
