Artist Statement Sean Griffin is a product of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where he shoots the majority of his abstract, landscape, nature and portrait images.

He seeks and finds perfection in the imperfect -- a bias that informs much of his work, especially in the realm of nature photography. With his abstract work he exploits the imperfections of digital photography and finds grandeur there. And he is fortunate to have a mountain as magnificent as Mount Rainier in his backyard.
