Artist Statement Passion for hand-blown glass, unusual composition, and illumination provoked my Ribbon Series. Deep moods of tactile joy seemed to interlace with meditative inspiration as these objects of striking colors and muted texture (glass bowls, tumblers, vases, prismatic ribbon, cactus skeleton) juxtaposed and fused in my lens.

I hope these photographs evoke the same level of tranquil fixation in you as they do for me.

Lisa Drew is a visual and performance artist residing in the Camden neighborhood of North Minneapolis, Minnesota.
