Artist Statement I fell in love with photography when I was given a little box Brownie for my 10th birthday.

That was long ago, but I’m still drawn to simple ‘old-style’ cameras, and only recently switched to digital and editing software, which is like sailing towards the horizon and suddenly bumping into the New World.

Most of my photos these days are for my travel and gardening websites: Visitor-Guide-to-Winnipeg.com, about the many pleasures of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Visit-Halifax-Nova-Scotia.com, also about an off-the-beaten-path city, this one the heart of Atlantic Canada and 5-minute-container-gardening.com, how to get a lovely, easy-care container garden.
