Artist Statement A native of Silicon Valley, I have traveled to many places and been influenced by the people and sites of many countries in my artwork. I tend to be abstract in nature, but enjoy pop influences as well. Color is my motivating factor...bold is better! I have worked with several artist groups here in The Bay Area and have hung in a few galleries. I love texture and movement that is achieved through acrylic paints.I have been intrigued with portraits lately, whether they are of famous individuals or a friend's dog. I would like to work on larger scale pieces, but the room I have available to do and store my work has limitations. I hope those that view my art are entertained, or have some sort of emotional reaction to it. What I enjoy most about abstract is the ability of the piece to have it's meaning be unique to the viewer. Enjoy!
