Artist Statement Charmaine Anderson is a fine artist, photographer, graphic/multimedia designer and videographer. She has designed Web sites and multimedia applications for companies such as Intel Corporation for the past nine years and numerous other large and small businesses prior to her tenure at Intel. Her experience includes designing from concept to final delivery including all phases of the product life cycle. Her experience includes strategic planning, visual design, rapid prototyping, content development, presenting concepts to clients, authoring code and final execution as well as search engine optimization expertise. She has won numerous awards of excellence for her work for Intel Corporation.
She also lectures on occasion at local colleges and libraries giving talks on best practices in Web Design and Development, e-commerce, and online marketing and SEO. Her expertise also includes video production experience encompassing producing, taping, editing and airing numerous television programs aired on public television. She is a passionate supporter of the Arts and has produced and aired TV programs featuring concerts by the Beaverton Chamber Symphony and numerous productions and PSAs for the Beaverton Arts Commission while she served as their President. She also supports the Beaverton Arts Foundation by developing and sustaining their web site. She was recently awarded “Volunteer of the Year” by the Beaverton Arts Commission for her efforts.
She also is an accomplished videographer and has traveled around the world shooting video that she offers via her stock footage web site www.royaltyfreestore.com for clients that include international production companies, broadcast television networks, ad agencies and a wide range of businesses.
Charmaine obtained her design training from the University of Oregon and she studied Art at California State University and her television production training from Tualatin Valley Community TV where she earned her Certified TV Producer designation. She is passionate about design, the arts and technology. She is also a fine artist and enjoys painting landscapes in oil when she has time.
