Artist Statement My name is Atis Minde. I am a marine biologist and quite naturally I'm also a nature lover. I think it was around 2005 when I bought my first digital camera and my hobby as an amateur nature photographer started.
Usually we notice beauty of the nature by observing some heart warming landscapes while hiking through forest, meadow or narrow mountain trail. But there is also so much beauty in small details, small living objects around us - stunning micro landscapes and worlds below the leaf cover, among the grasses and mosses, even in veggie garden. And that beauaty is mostly slipping by unnoticed in our fast-paced world.
