Artist Statement I design on the computer. While I am in control of many aspects of the design, the computer programs I use allow for randomness and discovery. In a session of work, I will create many varied pieces—jewel-like stars, wispy backgrounds, bold patterns. I gather together these found pieces and weave them together to make the finished design.
