Artist Statement A semi-retired writer, photojournalist, and geek, I'm now pursuing digital photography as a serious hobbyist. I take pictures of things as they are found and restrict my software use to effects otherwise achieved with filters and darkroom techniques. Black and white is my favorite medium but I shoot color as well and, who knows, maybe some day I'll post a color gallery too. For now, though, B/W is the thing. I hope you find something here to enjoy.
