Description I had originally made a panorama line drawing of the Empire State Plaza, utilizing stark white lines on a black background to emphasize the severity and the scale of the massive government plaza in Albany, NY. As soon as I was finished, I wanted to make a complementary work that would make the plaze as soft and warm and inviting as possible without losing a sense of the scale. The two pieces, when taken together, capture two opposite experiences within the same public space.
