Artist Statement My artwork, along with my blog by the same name, Ephemeraology, promote "taking the discarded and making it arted". I love using old paper in my work: checks, labels, stamps, invoices, typed pages, library items, price tags, receipts, Cracker Jack toys - if it's old, I love it.

I try to convey a simpler age in my work, when a trip to the grocery store meant dressing up and the milkman delivered. There is so much great vintage paper out there and I'm making it my mission to have it out in the open through my art!
