Jason Paddock, Milltown, NJ Member Since December 2013 Artist Statement Documenting the everyday or the extraordinary comes naturally to Jason, whether it’s a backyard in bloom, the comfort of a family gathering, or the pure joy of a wedding, b'nai mitzvah, bris, or party. His ability to anticipate memorable moments gives him the ability to be in the right place at just the right time. Jason’s career began “behind the scenes” of concert production and he continues to shoot concert photography in venues across the country, as well as destination weddings and other life events. His renowned travel photography is seen in national publications, including USAToday's Pop Candy and Mystic Seaport Magazine, and will be prominently featured in the 2013 York County (PA) Visitors Guide. He is also a contributing photographer for New Jersey Stage newspaper, Rock Show magazine, Home News Tribune/Courier News/MyCentralJersey.com, the Asbury Park Press, and the Star Ledger/NJ.com. His work has been exhibited at the Alfa Art Gallery, Milltown Public Library, the New Brunswick Public Library, and most recently at the Heldrich Hotel in the city of New Brunswick. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Jewish Family Vocational Service of Middlesex County (NJ) and chairs the organization's Young Professionals Division. He also serves on the Membership Committee at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The winner of several awards for his photographs of life in Central New Jersey, Jason lives in Milltown, New Jersey.
