Artist Statement Silvysion Photography is the vysion and mind of photographer Silvia M. Calzada.

A native San Diegan, Calzada has been a Freelance Photographer since 2006 providing professional services to local and national companies across the country. Many of her images have been featured in numerous media and publishing tools such as journals, newspapers, newsletters, magazines, advertisements, and websites in the United States serving brands and/or products such as Univision Radio, 10News, Azteca America, McDonald’s, Home Depot, Rebuilding Together, and MoneyGram. She has covered the fields of portraiture, sports, events, news, entertainment, editorial, and marketing for a variety of clientele. She has traveled around the world capturing images of thought, beauty, adventure, and special moments that have been shared anxiously with her followers. She enjoys applying a photo-journalistic view to her images delivering a special message to her viewers.
