Artist Statement I have always enjoyed art, but only recently discovered computer graphics, fractals, and the amazing possibilities available with graphic and photo editors. I design on the computer, using various programs. My graphics generally start with a fractal image, and I refine the image using various graphic editors until I find something interesting to work with.
My work includes some organic and figurative images, as well as some that are more graphic based, but all are abstract to a greater or lesser degree. I particularly enjoy working with colorful images that have some sense of movement, and some hint of the infiniteness that is a property of fractal images.
I enjoy folk art, including molas from Panama and African potato art, and I collect vintage scarves.
Thanks for looking!
