Artist Statement I am very new to the world of art. I began taking art classes at the Visual Art Centre in Bowmanville with a good friend of mine under the instruction of Lucy Manley in January of '09. Since laying a brush to canvas, I've been hooked. I am currently working in oils on canvas, but I am interested in trying other medias to add interest to my works. I am a great admirer of impressionistic art and hope to follow that path with my own works. I don't want to fuss with lots of details, but would rather use large loose strokes to create an interesting piece of work. Time will tell as I continue to pursue my passion for art and learning new skills and techniques.
