Artist Statement Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1970, the artist and designer Livia Burity very early interested in the world of art. She graduated in graphic design for City College and did graduate work in Art Therapy from Candido Mendes University, having had several passages from the School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage. Currently acts as manager and art director of the company Buriti - design and digital printing, and devote himself to his studio, where she teaches painting and works with integrated trials of contemporary painting and the art digital printing, including in their last works, the installation also. "In my artwork, I want to deconstruct the intruduzir painting and digital printing as an art form and expression. It is an interface between painting - destroyed, stained, dirty - and high-resolution digital printing. An intersection between the old and new past and present, and high-tech destroyer, a portrait of the society we live in today.
