Artist Statement I am an upcoming professional artist who lives on the Far North Coast of Australia. The beautiful coast has been a major influence upon all my recent work. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts/Visual Arts at Deakin University. Although I have completed two years of my degree I have had to put my studies on hold while I look after my 2 year old son fulltime. Although my studies are on hold my passion for art could never be, and I am unable to put down my paint brush. All of my recent art are painted from memory, they are impressions of my daily adventures with my son to the beach and creek. I work with professional high quality acrylic paints and my work is influenced by the Impressionists. I am passionate about the environment and its beauty, and feel so grateful that I am able to express my endless love for the natural landscape.
