Artist Statement I see my art as the ever unceasing effort to compete with the beauty of nature---and never succeeding, but to me all nature is beautiful and I strive to capture it in all it’s glory and bringing to the eye of the beholder it’s very essence of being. It gives me a deeper awareness of the whole meaning of existence and transports me into another dimension, which quite literally refreshes my soul!

My paintings are impressionistic, emitted with a myriad of colors, representing dynamic moods. My “brush with life” strokes produces sensitive pieces, indicating my art training.I have traveled through Europe and the Caribbean, capturing my impressions on canvas.

My art education began in Omaha Nebraska at Joslyn Art Museum and I studied Art History and Studio art at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Following that, I continued to study at the State University of New York at Buffalo and in Philadelphia Pennsylvania at the Aoelian Gallery under the tutelage of Tom Bostelle and at the Main Line Art Center.
