Description Quantum LeapOnce upon a time, there was a frog prince who had many brothers and sisters. Like himself, they were all born under a curse, which had been broken by a Mighty King. The truth was that they were all from the royal bloodline, heir to the throne and the kingdom. The King told them that their transformation would come as they renewed their minds with the Truth, for they still perceived themselves to be frogs. As many others embraced stories of the great day when they all would be taken away and changed, the Frog Prince chose to sit and meditate upon the Book of Truth. As he fed on it daily, his thoughts about himself, his circumstances and the world around him began to change. The Spirit of the Book gave him revelation of who he really was and the power and authority that he already possessed through the Mighty King. Its truth carried him through good times and bad. Soon, the metamorphosis began. The Words he had meditated on, manifested in his body. His ugly warts, which reminded him of all his pain and sorrow, became as precious stones. Upon his head arose a golden crown and he was caught up into a new realm of existence. Along the shore in the distance could be seen those still waiting for their stories to unfold. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind... 2004 Arleen Huffman

I love expression! One way that I do that has always been by drawing and painting. I began to get serious about it around 2001, as I felt led to create images that expressed the Lord's heart and what He has spoken to me. Most of my creations turn out with very bright colors and usually have some sort of story or allegory attached to them. I love a variety of different art forms and am hoping to create some different styles. I enjoy collage, watercolor, abstract as well as very real looking images. My medium is primarily acrylics and I often incorporate a lot of 3-D texture and objects into my paintings. I'm looking forward to experimenting more with watercolor, it doesn't smell as bad.
I hope the works you see here inspire and bless you, as well stir up your own imagination.
