Artist Statement When I was 11 I received my first camera the day before going on a school camping trip. That week I discovered light, shadows and my love for photography. From there it continued to grow, as a teenager I tried crazy stuff like putting Vaseline around the edge of the lenses to make special effects. I would save my money just to buy a new camera. I would take pictures of anything and everything; I just had a need to take pictures. But like most life took me in many directions over the years, raising my son, working and just simple life. Through all of this I never lost my love for photography. Now that I am older, not old, never old.........but now I am in a point in my life where I hope to share my view of the world through my art with others. My hope is to spark a thought, memory, a smile, or perhaps a moment of peace to others through my photos. Enjoy!
