Artist Statement My name is Iskren Arabadzhiev. I am a professional artist with many years experience, from Bulgaria. I graduated from Fine Art Academy “ St. St Kiril and Methody”. I work in many mediums – oils, acrylic, pencil, watercolor. I have sold my pictures worldwide and exhibited in many countries. I hope my paintings bring you joy and pleasure.
Life is colour and sensation. I am glad that I can feel that magic and express it on my canvas. There is so much love and hatred, light and darkness all around us. As an artist this touch my heart and I don't hesitate to bring it to life on a stone or on a sheet of paper.
From an early age I have always been fascinated by paintings that create mood, emotion and atmosphere, especially those paintings that lift me and lead me to some far off place. I love layering pure colors and transparency which appeals to my sense of spontaneity. My paintings are vibrant bright and rich with incredible depth and beautiful tones.
