Evan Rodick, Bozeman, MT Member Since August 2008 Artist Statement Evan Rodick, now attending Montana State University, originally developed his skills with twelve years of art education through the St. Tammany Talented Art Program in Louisiana. Evan has also done artwork for the St. Tammany Art Association’s Geaux Arts Ball with a backdrop rendition of Frederick Watt’s “Angel of Death.” Recently, Evan’s Senior Show, a series of works completed over the course of a year, were on display at Sorelli’s in downtown Covington. The seven watercolor and ink paintings are linked by similar color schemes—shades of one main color accented by another—and each work depicts a different animal representing an abstract feeling or value. Evan currently creates artwork for clients on a commission basis. From portraits to logos to the strange and the brilliant, Evan maintains a flexible style and a high amount of skill to render the most creative imagery asked of him.
