ROBIN BIVIN, JENNINGS, LOUISIANA Member Since December 2007 Artist Statement I'm a painter living in southwest Louisiana (south of I-10).
I am most concerned with the landscape, animals and people
of this area and usually work in a realist manner in graphite.
I do work on commission from photographs and enjoy
being able to record the memories that people carry of
places and loved ones.
I am influenced by the pictorialist movement in photography and
like to envision myself as a modern day itinerant painter.
