Artist Statement Self-taught artist and creative person. I'm motivated in making art that is beautiful and expressive. I enjoy working on pieces that show a weathered and aged appearance. I'm intuitive in my process in that I have no defined agenda when I start painting other than to select a color palette that works.

I typically don't have a 'Story' that goes with a painting other than to say I worked on it and developed the piece to the point where it just 'feels right'. Sometimes getting to this point means washing it all off and starting over. But even in those times the end result is usually very beautiful and unique.
