Description A serene and magical work in color pencil, acrylic and watercolor featuring a dragonfly perched on the ever beautiful flower of the passion fruit vine. The dragonfly represents many things in this world, transformation mostly, as well as rising above and being adaptable, being able to fly in any direction, at any time, and, against the wind. The passion flower was actually named in respect of the Passion of Jesus Christ by Roman Catholic priests during the 16th Century and was discovered first in Peru by Spanish Missionaries. It represents purity, beauty, calm, and hope, among other things. With all humanity has endured, it seemed only fitting to do a piece that would give people hope and a smile. The original was created over the Easter celebrations and has been donated to Charity for the indigenous women of the Bocas del Toro, Panana, archipeligo.
