Artist Statement I was born in Izmir Turkey, but was raised and educated in Istanbul. I left the great city to live in another great city, Los Angeles in 98. I married my high school sweetheart and after years of schooling and work, found myself here in Virginia, where I took up photography as a hobby. But as time when on, I found that I could not do without my camera by my side, and have since become absolutley enthralled with the art of photography.
I was recently published for the first time in the Washington City Paper in the arts section! I have no intention of ever turning back from my passion, and hope that I will progress and become a fulltime photographer.
