Artist Statement BeXtra resides in central Illinois, currently works for an Illustration firm and is taking courses to further her development as an artist and jack-of-all-trades. A (mostly) self-taught artist with random schooling from the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois State University, University of Illinois, and Parkland Community College. Over the years, BeXtra has dabbled in every medium ranging from flee market oil paints to digital media.
