There’s story behind my passion for cardinals & I'd like to share how my grief & pain became my passion & purpose after I stumbled across my talent several months ago, this is still a very new journey for me...

My name is Lynette Cormier, I’m from a small town in Louisiana called Arnaudville, I currently live in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. I'm a forty year old single parent of three, I have two boys, one girl. I have an angel in Heaven who gained his wings to SIDS two weeks after he was born in Aug 2006. Losing my son was devastating and very painful to say the least, but through the years with the help and support of my parents & sisters, I learned how to cope. All of the coping skills I thought I had found within myself over the years after losing my son were lost all at once in Oct 2014 when my father was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. My life came crumbling down when he passed away Dec 2014 which was also on my son's birthday. Exactly two days after my father's funeral my mother suddenly fell sick, and became bedridden. Just about everyday she would receive visits from a lil red male cardinal bird near her bedroom window which she said she looked forward to seeing it because it brought her peace and comfort and made her feel closer to my father, spiritually.
She ended up passing away Aug 2016 less than two years after my father, which was actually the day after my lil angel’s in Heaven birthday. After losing both of my parents, I began to see red cardinals more and more all around my parents' yard, today I see countless male & female cardinals on a daily basis in my parents’ yard & there's no bird feeders around! I started taking pics of the cardinals around the yard & I realized how much I enjoy taking pics of them & sharing the pics of my very own daily sightings of them in my parents’ yard and how much they help uplift peoples’ spirits as well as my own. I’ve been receiving messages from people asking me if I sell my prints, someone referred me to Imagekind so here I am.
Although I take the cardinal pics, I believe the inspirational messages I receive through them aren’t only meant for me, but for all of us who love & believe Cardinals are from Heaven❤️
