Description Again like the shipwreck shot, this is on Fraser Island, the only place in the world formed purely from sand and this is how incredible it looks when compacted over thousands of years. It's almost like those old school crafts with different color sands layered and then you stick a pin down the side to mesh them all.
David Glaser, Philadelphia Member Since February 2008 Artist Statement I am 24 and a resident of Philadelphia after going to college locally. I grew up in Northern NJ where I developed a photography hobby in high school. I'm not the guy at bars or parties snapping away like a tourist but when I travel I enjoy taking thousands of pictures. I have been very fortunate to travel with family growing up. I also studied abroad in Sydney, Australia which you will see many of my pictures came from. Also, many pictures come from the trip I took after graduating which was a 7 week trip by my lonesome to Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Since then I have had my responsibility-free travels basically on hold as I try to build a financial planning practice that will allow me to create the time I would want to travel and photograph the world.
