Artist Statement Passion for photography arised very early in his life. Starting from B&W manual development in darkroom to modern digital photography, He has always liked using professional equipment and top class lenses to reach maximum of detail. He uses only Zeiss manual lenses mounted on cameras.
After image sharpness, a real obsession to him, He restlessly looks for inspiration where colors, scene and light weave in the most evocative mixture. His house walls are plenty of my photos telling stories where time is freezed and deprived of its deteriorating effect, in favour of a calm projection of reality, stimulating his imagination and memories.
He likes to think at light as composed of drops able to depict, on the photographic layer, a very special kind of reality, differently from paintings that are purely a production of artist's imagination. In photograpy, photographer's imagination has to move within visual constraints surmountable only by developing a sort of third eye.
