Description 'The Martians had no resistance to the bacteria in our atmosphere to which we have long since become immune. Once they had breathed our air, germs, which no longer affect us, began to kill them. The end came swiftly. All over the world, their machines began to stop and fall. After all that men could do had failed, the Martians were destroyed and humanity was saved by the littlest things, which God, in His wisdom, had put upon this Earth.' -War of the Worlds (1953). Photo taken in Mars, PA, May 2009.
E Strawser, Pittsburgh Member Since December 2008 Artist Statement Photography has always been a sort of private obsession with me. I must have two or three gazillion photos of everywhere I’ve been, things that I’ve seen, and people that I’ve known. Up until now, I’ve kept them pretty much to myself, and it’s only recently that I’ve begun to share my work. I hope that you enjoy it.
