Artist Statement I'm a cosmetologist and love doing hair, but my first "love" was always art. I'll never set the paint brush down as long as I still have my eyes & hands. This is how I relax, enjoy myself, have fun, "escape", and grow as an artist. I haven't been a painter for very long, maybe just these past few years have I started taking it more seriously; before then, I'd usually doodle in my sketch book(s).

I welcome any criticism of my work so I can grow..but since I'm not surrounded by many artists, I get compliments for the most part lol -I would say I'm the biggest critic of my own work. Although, an art teacher once said that I "have the gift of color"...I guess that makes sense since it's my favorite 'part' of art -colors.
