Robbin Peckham, Gaston Member Since December 2011 Artist Statement ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: Robbin is an artist who thoroughly enjoys nature and being outdoors. She started drawing in pencil when she was a child, and continued her love for drawing as an adult. In 1987 her husband Russell bought her a set of Grumbacher oil paints and brushes. After completing only a few paintings, she knew that being an artist was more than a hobby, it was her passion. And it's still true today. Her inspiration comes from her home in the Pacific Northwest, at the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range, and her love of the Irish and Scottish countryside.
Education: Robbin has taken several art classes at Portland Community College, and some private classes as well. She is a dedicated Realism Artist who enjoys taking hikes with her sketchbook, and looking for new subjects to paint. Robbin's work has been accepted at art exhibitions, and she is currently searching for that perfect gallery to show her work.
