Artist Statement I am a full time wife and mother constantly trying to find time to create! I received a BA in Fine Arts from Christopher Newport University and am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Art.

Like so many artists before me, my work is inspired by nature. Most paintings are done in acrylic on canvas using a palette knife. I have really enjoyed the freedom that comes along with such a loose, abstract style. I sometimes work with collage and photography as well.
