Artist Statement Ed is from Cleveland, Ohio and currently lives in Frederick, Maryland. After a tour of duty in the Navy he attended and graduated from 3 art colleges and earned a BFA and MFA. He spent about 30 years in teaching art in higher education, was gallery director at 2 different colleges, and can add Professor of Art, Dean and President of an Art College to his resume.

His art has evolved over the years from the traditional still life, landscape and figurative images to the recent works where his interest is in design, color relationship and making the entire image visually exciting.
