Artist Statement Margie is a painter and photographer living in Southern California.
Her floral photographs shown on Imagekind are heavily influenced by the work of Georgia O'Keefe. You can view here paintings by going to her website at margiemurray.com. She works in oils, watercolor and mixed media. Margie works with a brush and/or palette knife to paint the human figure, floral, mountain and seascapes. She graduated from the University of Southern California and has been a student at Associates in Art and the Los Angeles Figurative Academy. She teaches teen art classes at Carter-Sexton Art Gallery in North Hollywood, California.
