Artist Statement In my real life, I strive to live so passionately and find the joy in detail - in conversation, emotion, nuances, business, pleasure.

I originally believed this desire to see and feel minute detail was a curse, until I realized how I could accept it as who I am and funnel that energy into both creative and business pursuits.

I am inspired by beauty and the intricate details of flowers and so I combine digital photograph with photo editing.

I never edit the actual flower, never enhance the natural beauty. I primarily focus on editing the background so one is forced into examining the minutiae.

The work I do for a living requires big picture thinking and this creative outlet provides the balance.
