Artist Statement I still remember the unique smell of chemicals from when my father was letting me into his DIY darkroom in our old kitchen. The smell of mystery, magic and creation. I must have the love for photography in my genes - both of my parents used to take beautiful photos.
I am constantly fascinated by the beauty surrounding me, be it in plants, landscapes or people passing me by. I try to find alternative and unique ways to portray what's common or seemingly ordinary. Every blade of grass or modest daisy deserves a moment in the center of the stage.
Photography is my passion and a hobby - professionally I am a teacher, translator and Biblical scholar. At the moment I live in Poland after many years of living in Israel and the US.
Some of my photos come in series of threes - I think they would look great both individually and in sets.
