Artist Statement I am from an artistic family, but I did not realize my own artistic needs until about 10 years ago just before moving to New Bern, NC. Eastern NC seems to be a haven of sorts for types of artists and I have enjoyed the opportunities to see such varied efforts.

Having raised and bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since 1986, they are my passion and as such are the focus of much of my creative endeavors. Ever learning new techniques and the joy of realizing the visual image on canvas of the image in my mind, gives me peace and fulfillment at this stage of my life. I hope others enjoy my point of view.
