Artist Statement I have been drawing ever since I was given my first crayons and felt tip pens. Although I am also a clay sculptor and have spent most of the past 30 years marketing my wildlife sculptures, I am returning to my drawing and painting. I think that the ability to see shadows and shape has been enhanced by my three dimensional work. I have now incorporated my many travels to Sweden into my subject matter. I have a real love for birds and flowers so the garden theme always comes through in my work. Id like to illustrate books and magazines. Now have a Swedish cookbook in the works plus a few children's books. Since I am a mother of nine children the ideas are everywhere.
