Artist Statement I have received my art training in Bulgaria in the class of Kiril Stanchev. I moved on to study Arabic Philology and lived in the Middle East for 17 years before relocating to the Caribbean. I returned to painting later in life and have dedicated myself exclusively to art since 2008. My work has been exhibited in Dubai, Grand Bahama new New York and can be found in collections in the Middle East, South Africa, Canada and my native Bulgaria.

I believe that the purpose of art is to inspire people to think bigger thoughts and feel deeper emotions.If I have to define my art, it would be visual poetry inspired by philosophy, literature and my interactions with nature and people. I work in a state of exhilaration which, I hope, infuses my paintings and is transmitted to the viewers.
