Artist Statement In a city of copycats, I have tried to be unique. I live in a place where if you publish a photograph, you'll see it everywhere next day under somebody else's name. For about 11 years I have kept my work to myself, only sharing it with friends and relatives.

My photographs are not digitally manipulated, aside from the the basics such as brightness, contrast and colour saturation. My street photography is shot as-is, no cropping, no fancy settings. I saw it, I loved it, and I shot.

I'm Venezuelan and close to 40. I attended Northwestern University, but my love for photography comes from a friend who introduced me to reflex cameras back in 1999. I also do commercial photography.
