Artist Statement I’m a Native Texan and was raised in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas. I expressed my interest in fine arts and love of nature growing up in small-town Lone Star. As a young girl, I spent many hours describing through poetry the breathtaking East Texas landscape and beauty.
My budding creativity and passion for writing poetry as a young girl blossomed into writing Children’s stories as an adult after my granddaughters Piper and Londyn were born. My granddaughter's love and inspiration have given me a creative spirit and foundation to build upon as an international artist.
My love of writing coupled with painting modern/contemporary art gives my life purpose and meaning. I feel very fortunate that God has given me not one, but two artistic gifts to enjoy my life and share with others.
